What we have accomplished this week: This week Naomi and I successfully packaged our lip balm, and finished our last batches of lip balm. We went shopping and bought all our makeup for our trip to the center on Monday, March 6. Also this week, Naomi and I called our mentor and got our place set up and the date of it. We are going to women's shelter on March 6 at 7:15 pm and we will be bringing a group of around 6-8 friends or family members with us to help give makeovers to these women. There will be a group of about 8 women at the shelter. We also went to the store and got thank you cards to work on on Friday in genius hour.
What we are working on now: Right now we are working on writing on all of our thank you cards and we are finalizing all of our details for our visit to the women's shelter. We are also getting all of our supplies together. Below is a sample of one of the cards we are writing.
What we will be working on next week: Next week we will head over to the women's shelter on Monday and we will begin our makeovers. We are so excited to meet the women!
I like how you guys have everything you need to do so organized, which allows us to see how much progress you guys have made.
